Chaweng Beach.

Chaweng is the largest town and has the longest beach on Samui.There are dozens of hotels and bungalows along Chaweng beach.You can find anything from 5 star luxury to the handful of budget bungalows that remain from Samui's days as a backpackers haven.Accommodation prices are higher then elsewhere on Samui, but Chaweng still has a highest density and widest selection of clubs, bars and restaurants on the island.

Sand : White sand and can be muddy in some places due to the fine grain of the sand.Overall a perfectly good sandy beach.

Water :Quality of the water is excellent. Crystal clear sandy seas.

Depth :Shallow waters (ankle depth) for a least 30 to 40 metres out at the North end of the beach the South end has some deeper areas close to the shore.
