Kamalaya Spa Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa has been named as one of the top five favourite destintaion spas in the world by the Spa Magazine 2010′s Silver Sage Readers Choice awards. This is the fifth spa industry award that Kamalaya Spa has recieved this year.The four citations came from The 7th Annual Crystal Awards Asia Pacific 2010, The 4th Annual TATLER UK Spa Awards 2010, SpaFinder Readers Choice Awards 2010 and the 8th Annual Thailand Tourism Awards. The awards began on the 27th September at the 8th Thailand Tourism Awards 2010 in Bangkok, Thailand. Karina and her husband, John Stewart (Kamalaya co-founder) accepted the ‘Award for Outsatnding Performance for Health Tourism Destination Spa – Nationwide’. Kamalayas awards continued a week later, Ocotber the 4th in London at the 4th Annual TATLER UK Spa Awards 2010 where Karina accepted the TATLER 2010 Award for ‘Enduring Excellence’ on behalf of Kamalaya. These honored awards are only given to five spas around the world and Kamalaya was praised for its prominent consistency in sustaining the highest standars of excellence since its opening.
Ocotber 14th. just 10 days later another award cam from the 7th Annual Crystal Awards Asia Pacific 2010in conjunction with the Wellness Summit in Singapore. Kamalaya was named the ‘Best Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) Wellness Center’ for the second year in a row.Kamalaya also made it as one of the three finalists in the ‘Best Destination Spa’ catergory, and also made it into the catergory ‘Best Wellness Retreat’
Ocotber 19th SpaFinder, The Global Spa resource, awarded Kamalaya five prizes for the second year runningin the SpaFinder Readers ‘Choice Awards 2010′ SpaFinder announced that Kamalya had won all five prestigious Readers Awards for ‘Favorite Spa in Thailand/Asia’ , ‘Best Cuisine’ , ‘Best for Mind-Body-Spirit’ , ‘Best Interior Design’ And ‘Best for Weight Loss’
