Chinese Herb Aloe

Latin Name : Aloe barbadensis
Chinese Name : Lu hui
Botany : This stemless, juicy plant can grow up to 15m high, the orange-brown to black leaves are smooth or prickly, the edges of the leaves are toothed.
Found in: Africa, India, Caribbean Islands, the Mediterranean and in some further parts of South East Asia.
Parts of the plant used : Pressed juice from fresh leaves is sold in irregular shaped pieces about 2cm in width.
The relevant organs: Liver, Stomach, Large intestines
