Clary Sage
Taken from the leaves this essential oil gives a euphoric uplift to the brain.So becareful how much you use, however as it can leave you feeling very intoxicated! Its relaxing and has antidepressent qualities. It has the reputation of being an aphrodisiac.
 
Peppermint
is an anti-spasmodic, decongestant and stimulant : for colic, flatulence, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, sinus congestion, catarrh and mental fatigue
 
Chamomile

The flower parts of the Chamomile are used to obtain the essential oils. Chamomile oil is relaxing and antispasmodic and helps to relieve tension headaches, nervous digestive problems and insomnia. It is also a gentle sedative, anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory and antidepressant : for allergies, stress, insomnia, headaches, eczema, acne, colic, flatulence and indigestion.

 
Marjoram
From the leaves of Marjoram this oil has a calming and warming effect and is good for both cold muscles and for cold tense people who might also suffer from headaches, migraines or insomnia.
 
Ginger
From the Ginger root this oil is known for its warm and comforting nature. It is a balancing oil and counteracts ailments caused by dampness, being particularly effective for muscular aches and pains, catarrh and other symptoms of coughs and colds.
 
Nutmeg
Warming, stimulating and euphoric this oil taken from the fruit of the nutmeg tree is good for poor circulation, muscular aches, sluggish digestion, loss of appetite and the early stages of a cold.
 
Palmarosa
Taken from the leaves of this herbaceous plant, palmarosa is a gentle and comforting oil.It is is particularly effective for acne, denmantitis, scars, sores, and other skin inflammations, headaches and nervous exhaustion.
